René Alssema

My name is René Alssema. I live in Nijverdal in the Netherlands. I am 67 years old and have been breeding canaries since I was ten. I have about 50 breeding pairs, mainly Glosters and a few pairs of Norwiches. Due to many successes both at home and abroad with my show Glosters, many breeders all over the world know me. As an IGBA judge, I have been traveling the world since 1990 to judge Gloster shows.

With 50 breeding pairs and about 250 young birds annually, you naturally want the best for your birds all year round. For some time now, I have been trying various seeds from Bird Supreme. It is ideal to have various options to choose from. I have noticed that all the seeds are very clean and of fine quality. I find a wide diversity of high-quality seeds very important. I have only tried a few bags of the egg food, but it looks good, smells good, and is readily eaten by the birds. In short, the seeds and egg food from Bird Supreme suit me and the birds very well.
